Ofsted Report

We were delighted to welcome Ofsted inspectors to Penkridge Middle School on 7th July 2026. During their visit, inspectors spent time reviewing all aspects of school life, including teaching and learning, attendance and behaviour, personal development and wellbeing, inclusion, leadership and governance, as well as the effectiveness of our safeguarding arrangements. The report reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment of our pupils, staff, governors, trustees and wider school community. We are incredibly proud of the positive recognition we received and will continue to build on these strengths as we strive for excellence in all that we do.

Inspectors recognised the strong sense of community across the school, the positive relationships between pupils and staff, and the extensive opportunities available to all pupils. The report highlights that pupils thrive as part of the Penkridge Middle School team and that our values of effort, encouragement and excellence are evident in daily school life.
